From Policy to Market – Scaling Bio-based Textiles in Europe is a breakfast roundtable that will be held on 3 March 2026 at the European Parliament in Brussels. Hosted by MEP Maria Guzenina (S&D) and co‑organised with the Finnish Forest Industries Federation (FFIF), the closed‑door discussion brings together EU policymakers and industry stakeholders to explore how bio‑based textile fibres can be scaled within a competitive circular bioeconomy, with a focus on EU policy frameworks such as the Circular Economy Act, ESPR and Product Environmental Footprint (PEF).
