Carbon removals

Carbon removals are expected to play an important role in achieving climate neutrality alongside deep emissions reductions. Technological solutions can complement nature-based approaches by permanently removing carbon from the atmosphere. Europe has an opportunity to become a leader in developing and scaling innovative carbon removal technologies.
